Subject: Please help
I am trying to install the TeX package on my Alpha DEC3000. I have to admit that I, as a
mathematician, have very little knowledge about the X11 and the C language. I was hoping
that by unpacking the software and following your instruction I would have a chance of
success. Now here is my need of your kind help. I have encountered exactly the same
problem as you had described in INSTALL concerning "wchar_T". I understand perfectly
what you theorized there. My trouble is that I don't know how to fix the problem as
you have suggested. My questions are:
How should I define "NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T"?
Which file should I put the definition of "NO_FOIL_X_WCHAR_T" in?
I know I seem stupid, but please try to understand I am trying to learn to improve
myself. I would appreciate it very very much if you could please be so kind in
providing me with some EXPLICIT answers or examples. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Moody Chu
